The 85th International Peace Marathon of Kosice, is the oldest Marathon in Europe. The first race was held in 1924. Every year on the first Sunday of October the Marathon takes place and a great number of international athletes from all over the world come to Kosice to run this marathon.
Limit for 33km - 4hours.
Age limit: Marathon and Half Marathon 18 years (year 1990 and older).
Participation of skaters younger than 18 years is permitted only for registered competitors with a written consent of their next friend and the competent Sport Club. Participation of competitors younger than 16 years is not permitted, with the exception of Mini Marathon.

When? 05.10.2008 start at 10.00 finish at 15.00

Where?
-Start on the Main street in front of the Hotel Slovan
-Finish on the Main street in front of the Hotel Slovan for participants of Marathon and Half Marathon;
- Finish at Peace Marathon Square (Námestie Maratónu Mieru), for Skaters(20km), Handbikers(20km) and for persons with wheelchairs(20km).
