Jevgenij Pljuschenko - Ice Olympic Tour
When he was 4 years old stood on the skates. On the 2002 winter Olympics he made by mistake a combination of a triple jump instead of a quadruple and he finished fourth after the short program. He gave a strong free program for Bizet's Carmen and placed second.
When Yagudin was forced to leave the amateur ice, Plushenko won almost all competitions, which he took part in the coming years. Only twice he placed on the second place.
In 2005, after the short program, had to withdraw from the World Cup, due to illness and account on that he did not enter the Grand Prix Final. Plushenko was the ultimate favorite in the Turin Olympics. After the Olympics, he is having a break from competing and 'just' participates different exhibitions.
